Dagney is finally back to her old self. This morning, she ate lots of cheese eggs, half a banana, and a sausage link. She also chased brother around the house for a bit and drove her ATV into the couch. She's definitely back in the saddle!
Yesterday, we took Dagney to see her first movie. We saw Rio, a cartoon about some Brazilian birds. I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about it; it was actually really cute. Dagney was awake through the whole thing, and she did great! She only got fussy once, and a diaper change fixed that! We were so proud of her, sitting quietly for 2 hours. We went for ice cream to celebrate; Dagney likes banana splits!
Dagney is also the proud owner of a savings account at Wells Fargo. She doesn't seem to care yet, but at least the money she got for her birthday is now safe and sound. :)
We had an atypical Fourth. We stayed home this year, and have been relaxing after our horrible week. Also, instead of grilling out, I made Mexican food. Dagney fell asleep before the fireworks started, and she was sick last year, so she still has yet to see any fireworks. Oh, well, maybe next year!
