I think Dagney is going through a growth spurt. Last night, she slept 8 hours, woke up this morning and ate, played for a while, napped a couple hours, we went to brunch, then she slept 6 more hours! Now it's after midnight and she's (of course) still awake.Some of Dagney's favorite things to do now are smile, watch her mobile, and watch TV. When we put her in her crib, she watches the animals go around on her mobile and smiles and kicks her legs. Yesterday we watched Ratatouille, even though I much prefer old Hanna Barbera cartoons (which we also watch). She is also playing a little in her Exersaucer now. She's a little young for it, but she likes to sit up like a big girl. If you try to lay her down and she's not sleepy, you'll pay! She's getting good at holding her head up. Soon she'll be rolling over and laughing out loud. She has learned the word "milk." The other day, she was crying and I said, "Do you want some milk?" while shaking a bottle. She stopped crying and opened her mouth! I tell ya, it's tough being the parent of a genius. ;)
