Dagney's Two Month Check-up

Dagney went for her 2 month check-up and vaccinations today. Dr. Wamack's MA finally figured out that she's a girl. You would think that it would take fewer than 4 times of weighing her (naked) to make this discovery. Alas! Dagney is in the 97th percentile for height and weighs almost 14 lbs-- what a big girl! She took her vaccines like a trooper; she cried a little, but nothing some snuggles couldn't fix.

She also took her first road trip this weekend; we went to Mobile for the Fourth. She did great in the car (she slept almost the whole way), but she had some belly trouble from the ride. It didn't manifest itself until we were on the way to go see fireworks at the pier, and we spent the entire fireworks display in the Rite Aid parking lot. C'est la vie. She did, however, get some swimming in earlier in the day (while she was still feeling well). She had a blast kicking around in the pool at Grandmama and Papa's house; I think we have another future swimmer in our midst!
