Well, the cold turkey bottle castoff is not going well. I have purchased several different types of sippy cups and so far, Dagney likes none of them. She'll take a few sips out of one, turn it upside down and shake it, and then throw it at something. She can't figure out why I keep giving her broken bottles. And if you lay her down to go to sleep without a bottle, there will be hell to pay. We did, however, experiment with some big girl foods today. She had scrambled cheese eggs for breakfast (a hit), miniature corndogs for lunch (also a hit), and peanut butter and jelly for dinner (not so much). She's taking to the vitamins well, but then, who doesn't like Flintstones vitamins? I can't believe I didn't poison myself on those things! They were sooo good! She also had a little juice today. I'm not sure if she liked it; she nursed it for a LONG time. She's still playing hooky from school; she has big holes in her legs where the nurse shanked her, and although it doesn't seem to bother her, I feel guilty taking her to daycare! Today Dagney helped herself to some Nilla wafers and later, some Thin Mints. I don't know what it is about that kid and contraband cookies, but they just seem to taste better when you sneak them! Plus, she is so cute when she's busted.
Yum! Cream cheese eggs!
Nilla wafer thief! You can see the concern for the consequences in her eyes.
Cute little cookie monster
